AudioBooks
The SciFi, Fantasy and Adventure genres have provided more than their share of great reads. Whilst the best of their type is as good as (or better than) the best of any other type of literature, they are also known for the rather less literary works of simple, plain, old-fashioned fun. As such they lend themselves well to audiobooks.
I’ll be posting a few audiobooks at any one time, some read by myself and some by others. The quality of the recordings may not be as professional as, say, the BBC, but is easily good enough to make for enjoyable listening.
If you want to introduce others to the SciFi or Fantasy genres, please don’t give them these links.
Whilst for nostalgia buffs these are a fun reminder of yesteryear, some of them absolutely do not represent their genres in any realistic way, being pulp at best and trash at worst – certainly not good writing in any case!
